Barolo “Lu” D.O.C.G
To enhance the Nebbiolo wines of the Bocchino family, here is ‘Lu,’ the Barolo. This cuvée comes from vineyards in La Morra, a terroir known for expressing finesse and elegance in the glass. Thanks to the care given to the vineyard and traditional vinification in large oak casks, ‘Lu’ is a Barolo faithful to the characteristics of La Morra. Fine and delicate, with a slight nuance of power on the palate.

Azienda Agricola Eugenio Bocchino
Barolo is the land of great red wines in Italy, where some of the most prestigious wines in the world are produced. These lands, coveted for about twenty years, have seen their fame increase, benefiting both the appellation and Italian wine, but perhaps to the detriment of tradition and the typicality of the place. Amidst the thousands of cellars, I discovered Eugenio’s. He has a very simple creed: “intervene as little as possible to faithfully transcribe the terroir.” Eugenio and his wife, Cinzia, took over Eugenio’s grandfather’s 5.5 hectares of vineyards in 1997 with the goal of producing a healthy wine faithful to the “Langhe” territory. To achieve this, they practice organic and biodynamic farming. They are also part of the “Renaissance des appellations” association founded by Nicolas Joly and Stefano Bellotti.
