Sizzano D.O.C
Welcome to the Negri family, three brothers bound by their passion for vines and wine. In this small appellation on the rise in northern Piedmont, they exclusively produce three wines. The Sizzano is their Nebbiolo cuvée. Characterized by an elegance reminiscent of Burgundy Pinots, the nose reveals notes of red fruits and flowers. On the palate, balance and delicacy prevail. A wine produced in 2022 with 4000 bottles.

The complexity of a wine is given by the biodiversity in the vineyards, by the clones, and by all the small details that a winemaker can adjust during their work. However, the Fratelli Negri possess a secret weapon that elevates their wines to a higher level: immense passion, tenacity, humility, and stubbornness in the pursuit of an ideal wine with mythological traits. Their Sizzano is vinified in a way that faithfully transmits the vintage and the terroir. No artifice or additives. Here, only a lot of dedication and constant curiosity in the search for techniques to improve the quality of the vines, grapes, and to intervene as little as possible during vinification.
Tasting their Sizzano means entering into this circle of wines that move with their complex simplicity, a quality so difficult to achieve and that only a few winemakers succeed in sealing in their bottles.
