Le Due Terre estate stands on a hill that marks the border between 2 terroirs (2 lands). Here, Silvana and her family cultivate and vinify wines from indigenous grape varieties with the utmost respect for biodiversity. A perfect harmony between humans and nature gives rise to deep and elegant wines. Sacrisassi Bianco is the union of Ribolla Gialla and Friulano. It’s a cuvée with a slight maceration that produces a wine of great expression and power while maintaining a mineral and elegant finish.

Le Due Terre Azienda Agricola
Overlooking the tiny village of 800 inhabitants of Prepotto in the Carso region, located in northeastern Friuli Venezia Giulia, stands a legend in the Italian wine industry: Le Due Terre. Silvana Forte, accompanied by her husband and, more recently, her daughter, has been vinifying wines since 1984, among the most interesting in the region and, I would even add, in northern Italy. This family is much more than a family of winemakers; they are the guardians of a disappearing peasant know-how. Beware of anyone who would call Le Due Terre a winery; here, one must speak of a traditional agricultural estate. Indeed, biodiversity is honored on this magnificent hill: fruit trees peacefully coexist with vineyards and a vegetable garden teeming with old varieties of vegetables.
