Erbaluce di Caluso “Le Chiusure” D.O.C.G

Camillo, a Piedmontese winemaker with a Burgundian soul, took over the family estate in Piverone after a career in a completely different field. Returning to his roots, he developed a passion for viticulture—especially in Burgundy. He also grew close to Erbaluce, the region’s emblematic grape variety. His enthusiasm even led him to write two books on the subject, including one focused on DRC, with the help of its owner.

Moreover, Erbaluce holds a central place in his winemaking philosophy. In his wines, you can find clear nods to the Burgundian world, highlighting harmony, consistency, balance, and finesse. The cuvée “Le Chiusure” embodies all of this in a fresh, unpretentious style and shines a spotlight on Erbaluce. In addition, Erbaluce remains a distinctive choice for the wines of this region.
