Jacquère “Giant Step”
The Jacquère, a native Savoyard grape variety, can both attract and deter fans of alpine wines. When well-handled, it charms with its mineral qualities, digestibility, and liveliness. However, if neglected, it can result in wines with immature and unpleasant acidity. The Giant Step clearly falls into the first category. This wine delights with its freshness and lightness, without sacrificing aromas and flavors. These are expressed delicately but are very much present.
