Mornen Noir “Mine de Rien”
Never heard of Mornin Noir? That’s perfectly normal. This rare grape variety, a distant cousin of Chasselas, intrigues with its originality. Although it is a red grape, it has all the characteristics of a white wine. On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of fresh fruit, while its structure, completely devoid of tannins, offers an incredible lightness and digestibility. A sensory experience as unexpected as it is fascinating.

Among these gems are the Chouchillon, the ancestor of Viognier, making a strong comeback, and the Mornin Noir, a lesser-known cousin of Chasselas. These ancient, nearly lost grape varieties are brought back to life here thanks to the passion and dedication of the Deplaude family, offering wines with a unique history and character.
