Chasse-Nuage
It’s the story of a nasty hailstorm that led to two wonderful encounters across the valleys. One was with a generous winemaker, Fred Péricard, in the Pays de Gex. The other encounter was a brilliant union of macerated Pinot Gris with the pressed juice of Chasselas and Jacquère. All of this is what gave birth to Chasse Nuage.
Unsurprisingly, Chasse Nuage is a true favourite for its freshness, delicacy and generous charm. This wine offers a relaxed take on skin-contact wines. These can sometimes feel intimidating for their bold, expressive character. That’s not the case here: this cuvée wins you over with its softness and approachability. It reveals a profile that is both charming and beautifully balanced.

His name may not ring a bell yet. However, a quick look at the wine lists of France’s top restaurants shows that Chasse Nuage’s talent is beginning to win over sommeliers at some of Europe’s finest tables. This is thanks to his wines.
A former engineer for a sports brand, he discovered the world of wine during a harvest with winemaker friends in Burgundy. The experience was life-changing. It’s there that he encountered the spirit that now drives Chasse Nuage.
The first cuvée was born in 2019, guided by a strong ambition: to craft terroir wines that combine character and finesse. It’s a challenge he has met brilliantly. What’s more, the estate’s Alpine identity shines through in Chasse Nuage—precise, finely crafted, and delivering bright, mouthwatering pleasure with every sip.
